Help! oc + high temps!

Sorry for the first blank post. But anyway heres specs

 

i5-2500K

Corsair h60 Liquid Cooling

EVGA P67 SLI MOBO

 

 

So I have two dilemmas,

one, is that my Cooler is doing higher temps than the stock fan.

Two I was wondering if anyone could help me with overclocking. I can not figure it out for my life.

What temps? Did you instsll the cooler correcly? Did you apply thermal paste correctly? Enough aoirflow though the cooler, Fans not facing wrong direction etc.?
