Hey everyone!
So I'm gonna put together my first build and need some help. So far I've decided to go with the AMD A10-5800K APU and stick it in the ASRock FM2A75M-DGS as suggested in the newest 350$ build a pc video. However I am having trouble picking out memory and a PSU.
The question about memory is that i can't find G.Skill memory as suggested in the video anywhere where i live (Estonia) so I decided to go with the Kingston Hyperx Beast 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL9. But then i noticed that the HyperX Predator 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 2133MHz CL11 is currently on sale and cheaper than the HyperX Beast. The problem is that AMD says that the A10-5800K supports up to 1866MHz memory. Would the APU benefit from the increase in MHz or would it not work at all? Should i stick with the 1866MHz or go for the 2133MHz?
The question about the PSU is that in the 350$ build the Corsair CX500 PSU was suggested. However this build will be a temporary solution and i would like to make a new build in a year or two so I'd like to use the same PSU im putting into this build in the next one also. So i thought about going for the Corsair CX750M. Would there be downsides to putting an overkill PSU in this build? Could it somehow damage the system?
Are all these parts even 100% compatable? If you have any other suggestions about the memory and PSU i would appreciate them!
