Help needed with budget build!

Wanting to do my first ever build but keep it cheap.I have a list of things to take into consideration:

  • I'm trying to keep my build under £400 including a copy of Windows 8.
  • I don't need an optical drive because I can rip one out my dad's old PC and also a 250GB hard drive (it's probably only SATA II so I'll get another that is SATA III).
  • I plan to do light to medium gaming and will do other stuff on it as well.
  • Will need a decent motherboard preferably Micro ATX so I can fit it in a reasonably small case (also needed).
  • I also plan to do mild overclocking but nothing extreme (maybe around 10%).
  • Fast graphics card but nothing too fancy (I dont need to play in 1080p, 720p will do just fine as long as I can get playable framerates with reasonable graphics settings).

Thanks in advance guys, I really hope you can help me because I've been meaning to get away from console gaming for around 3 months now but I just dont have the funds nor the PC intelligence to make my own computer but I look forward to it!

EDIT: Litlle side note; it would be really good if all the colours or the memory, motherboard, etc could match to make it look good so I can show it off. And yes i will work my ass off to get good cable management.

You can'rt really OC with a micro ATX build, not for under 400. Would you be willing to use a standard ATX case?

If it isn't too big, yes.

Nice build but is that PSU not a bit overkill?

Changed it around a bit to bring down the costandfrom what I've heard put in a better graphics card. I didnt need the USB 3.0 header so I changed the case and the motherboard, is it still okay?

Not if you what to over clock its not.

You picked a slower video card too and you cant overclock on that cheap mobo (and i dont think it will support a 140w chip)
