Help needed for a first time PC builder

These are the parts I am going to use, tell me if they are good enough to run games on max setting

•Intel i7 4790k
•Gigabyte GA H81M S1
•AMD R9 270X graphic card
•Kingston 16GB ram
•Corsair CS750 PSU
•Cooler Master Nepton 140XL
•Seagate Baracuda 2TB Hard Drive
•LG DVD Internal Optical Drive

Please tell me if these specs can run games in max setting. Any help would be appreciated.

my only thought is go 8 gb of ram spend extra money and get boot ssd.

Go with an i5 4690k and use the extra money for a better graphics card, maybe r9 280x or gtx 960 4gb

As much as I love my 4790k if you do not do anything other then gaming, i agree with @kmnjh go with an i5, and drop down to 8GB of ram, and use the money for an ssd and a better video card.

Which games?

Is gaming all you're going to be doing with it (if you're going with a 4790k I'd presume you're doing some productivity work?).

What hardware would suit you heavily depends upon what you're doing with it and you haven't really specified much.

Why get a K cpu and a h motherboard? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116987

I will be playing games life GTA V, Watch Dogs, Robocraft, Team Fortress 2, Assassins creed etc. Also I will be doing different types of projects. I didn't chose an AMD processor because they can't calculate.

Isn't 4790k faster? It is 4Ghz

The 270x is too weak to run newest games on max. You need a 290x. Also that motherboard is really old, get a z97 chipset.
Something like this is the best you can do for 800$ http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4WvHt6
For an i7 and 16gb ram you would need 1000$ budget

But my budget is 1,300 dollars

Must have confused it with a 800$ post then, here you go, updated

Both will give you max settings. I prefer nvidia but both are good. I left room with the PSU for crossfire/sli down the line

Thanks bro, also, will I be able to run GTA V 1080p and 60FPS?

It should run more like 1080p 80-100fps

Holy crap!!!!! This is gonna be the first time I will play on a PC. I used to play on PS4 but I could no longer play online because there was an error in downloading the ill gotten gains update. Then I decided to put down my controller and join the master race. I hope I don't regret it. Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it.

What, video editing? 3D modelling? CAD? Photo editing? You might see benefit from going with X99 for some, or next to none for going with a 4790K over a 4690K per se.

Also, @vrtnipatuljak, might sorta be worth sticking an SSD in there.

There's a LOT of key information missing here, I suggest you read the following topic through if you want to get better advice:

[Read before you post] General Guidelines - Build a PC

I put a hybrid drive instead, better value

But not as fast.

Not as annoying either, no constant installing and uninstalling because oh no I only have 240gb(thats like 3games)

For the same price you can get a 120 gigabyte SSD plus a 1 terabyte HDD.
