I dont know what your budget is but I'd get an FX 8350 and a cheaper power supply (as in less watts) dont cheap out on 80+ though!

Yea, you don't need that many watts on the power supply, just take it down to 600w and you would still have plenty of power left. And I would say go for something like the FX-8350, if it fits your budget, otherwise it all looks fine.

Im planning on then getting another 7870.

Im planning on later getting another 7870 so I'd rather have a power supply that could support it when I do now then have to upgrade later.

ya i wouldn't go with a phenom i would try to go with an fx. anyone that has a X3XX like the 4300 or the 8350
