[HELP]My New PC

What I plan to use it for: Gaming, streaming, and recording with Fraps.

Plan on going with the AMD-FX-8350 with a GeForce GTX 670 GPU. I was wondering if this was a bottleneck, or if I could pick better parts for a better bang for my buck. The other parts are here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xnM4

And another question: would the Havik 140 cooler fit in the NZXT Phantom, or would I have to get a different case? If so, could you please recommend one?

There has been a lot of doubt that the FX-8350 is better than the i5-2570K, but Logan's bench marks say otherwise and people are saying that he faked them, and that has made me a bit doubtful...

Thanks for all your help. I'm new to PC building

Don't ever, ever, ever skimp on the power supply; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xpkd

You might want to go with a single 8GB stick of RAM just so you have more opportunities to upgrade later.  Other than that, this will be a great build. If you have the extra money, bump that up to a gtx 680. I agree with WAFFLETIME - the i5 3570k doesn't offer as cheap of a price, but it is a great option; with a Nvidia GPU, it will perform much better under load. If you want the best performance and consistancy, the i7 3770k hyperthreads to 8 cores, and is generally a much better quality CPU. The price/performance ratio is not good, though. However, having one in my system, I can vouch for the ultimate power.

Good sir may i may a few recomendations to save some funds?

CPU: Get the 8320, the only difference between it and the 8350 is the 4.0ghz clock on the 8350 vs 3.5 on the 8320. It saves you $20 to invest in other parts.

GPU: The GTX670 is a wonderful card, but the HD7970 is cheaper with more video memory and it performs equally/better depending on the games. Here is a bench of both: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/508?vs=598 The HD7970 is around $10-15 cheaper then the GTX670 and is properly good.

The Havik 140 will fit in that case.

PSU: I agree with the fella above me on that, if you are a looking for a cheaper alternative with a nice 5 year warranty and good guts, the XFX 750 will do plenty with a massive amount of head room for OC and another card. Here: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750snlb9

I forgot to mention that if you do use an AMD CPU, use an AMD GPU. Nvidia will work with an AMD processor, but AMD will work best with AMD. There is much better support for their own products. The 7970 is a great card - very good performance, and EyeFinity is just amazing.
