Hello all,
I few weeks ago I have posted a thread about my first gaming build and here is the link.
I have finally got all my items and have assembled the PC. However everytime I boot my PC and enter BIOS my SATA HDD does not appear on the bootable devices. The only thing I can see on the UEFI is the CD/DVD drive.
I've tried installing an OS however the computer cannot detect any drive that it can install the OS into.
To save you guys some time, here are the procedures that I have attempted:
- Reset CMOS using the jumper
- change different SATA location
- made sure that each cables work
- check for vibration or noise in the HDD (did not find anything)
- Tried to use my old and working HDD on the new PC (non of them appeared in the BIOS/ OS Installation.
Also i am not sure whether this is the right forum to post this, sorry in advance.
