Hey guys.
Please help me come up with some arguments to combat my parents no allowing me to spend $1000+ on a pc.
They don't see the point. Please come up with some good arguments. :)
Cheers Matt

Hi,
Assuming you want it for games but what else are you going to use it for?
Do you have any other PC's you have access and use of in the house?
Just games and possibility of editing. One other pc. It is an all in one pc, with a touchscreen.
Having a higher-end PC opens op many opportunities for profit; if you get an AMD GPU, you have the option to mine Bitcoins, Litecoins, and such for a practically direct profit, you could start trading stock(s) and bonds, you could edit professionally, you could start freelance web dev, you could make an army of spam-bots and hijack others' computers to mine BTC for you; so many opportunities to learn and make much more than $1000 in the process.
If they say just get a consal show them the steam summer sale.
most cases of kids telling their parents they can make money from bitcoin from thin air on their computer doesn't go down too well, they won't like the increased electrical bill either
Tell them its going to be your profession. that its for education and for your future college experience.
You allready have a i7 4770k and a GTX770 (apparently) so why do you need $1000?
Parents dont hemorrhage out dollars for hopes and dreams (i shure as hell dont and whont spend that kind of money on my kids)
There is no free lunch in life, your parents may help you out with the cost of a pc if you try to make money towards it by your self.
If thay see you are trying your best to get something you whant thay will help you.
wouldn't personally go with those parts, how about you come down on the price by getting a bit more budget friendly parts, and you can't get those parts for $1000 in america either and those are much cheaper than AUS looks more like a 1200-1500 build to me
