Help me with my website?

So i have been trying to create this website for maybe a year now. I can never seem to get it perfect. I used to host it my self with Ubuntu Server 14.04 but now i have it hosted on DigitalOcean.

I am in need of someones help maybe setting up. I have a Ubuntu Server 14.04 droplet running right now. Let me know if i should maybe be running CentOS or such, maybe something faster than Ubuntu Server. But on Ubuntu Server i have Nginx installed.

Now with this website i would like to be able to stream media. Maybe you know of a place i can store these such media files and be able to connect to them from the browser without having to download them. I only get 20-30 gigabytes of storage with Digital Ocean.

I do know the basics of coding, i know how to read code and understand it and can change anything in code. Ive done many projects with HTML and some PHP but thats about it. If you have some better ideas instead of simple HTML do let me know.

This might be in the wrong place. It could also go in Web Development but i thought code went well with this.

HTML5 - plenty of online tutorials about. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_media.asp
Pretty basic stuff so Im sure you'll work it out.

Well i dont really want a basic site. Id like something like a gallery for videos.

Basic too learn not basic in operation. HTML5 + some half decent CSS and your site will be great.
If you cant be arsed learning to code it properly use a website design application of which code bloats the hell out of pages.
Worst case use a service like SquareSpace where all the work is done for you.

If your media library is film and TV shows you may want to consider Plex Media Server.

Well how could i allow public users to use that Plex Server of mine? Didn't think that was possible to do?

You can share your Plex library if I'm not mistaken.
