Help me pick ram

I made a mistake when ordering my new build, most likely due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to ram a
what is the best possible replacement around the same price

Wait, do you already own that RAM?

Yes sadly when I caught the combatiblity issue it was too late to cancel my order I plan on sending it back (First the voltage and then the memory standard not being 2400 on the mobo)

it will *probably* work perfectly fine, not the smartest choice in my oppinion, but shouldn't be a problem

forgot to mention it has to be purchased on newegg sorry about that

Same stuff.

Even faster!

voltage is 1.6

Ah, you can't run at 1.6V at all? Never mind. The Sniper stuff is plenty fast @ 1866mHz CL9. The Trident X was just 1866mHz CL8 :|

pcpartpicker says "G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum."

Oh, don't care about what PcPartPicker says! I run 1.65V memory, sometimes at 1.7V when I'm benching and really pushing the frequency, on Ivy Bridge, and it said the same thing. With the Mpower, one of the best overclocking boards out there (literally), you will have 0 problems with RAM up to 1.65V and beyond.

cool then ill go with your second choice thanks I didn't know all of that

Yeah, it is misleading, but will work fine :)
