I recently got 81% on my collage maths test and my father has agreed to finally let me build my first gaming rig!
We made a deal that I would be able to only spend 7k Aud. At first my father was planning on getting on buying me origin gaming PC but I told him it would be a fun project to build myself a PC.
The reason why I want an overkill PC is simply because that's the budget my dad offered to give me and I want to get the best parts for this price.

Pretty damn hell of a powerhouse.
If money is really no object I'd probably go for a 27" center monitor and a nice SSD RAID-0 for the main partition (have one on my laptop and it's absolutely awesome). Maybe even a RAID-1 or 5 with more HDDs for storage, but that depends on the usage pattern and network situation.
To stay within the 7K, it could be 2x256 SSDs and maybe give up on one of the other monitors.
A Corsair K70 or some other good mechanical keyboard and a good gaming mouse (Corsair, CM Storm, maybe Razer) would also need to be in there.
Anyway, that also looks awesome ;)
