Help me pick a PC

Hi everyone first time posting on these forum! Please excuse my writing english is not my frist language.

I recently stopped smoking and started a new job! In consequence I have more money to spare. Im currently looking to buy a Tower PC.

I currently game on a macbook... shame shame i know!! I had a 1000$ discount on it back in the days because of my school. Now however I want to buy a tower PC.

I know alot of you will tell me to build it myself, i know it would be alot cheaper but I dont want to go throught the trouble of doing it simply. I know its kind of stupid but I dont want to f**k up anything. So im looking for a prebuilt PC.

My budget is around 1000$ canadian that is but it can be flexible for a big upgrade in power. My absolute max would be 1200$. Im not really well informed about what would be the best CPU\GPU combo for the money.

I would use it mainly for gaming and web browsing. I dont plan on using any 4K monitor. However I have 2 monitor that i would like to run at the same time on it 1080P. I dont think that would be a problem my macbook can do it.

For storage i want a small SSD a 256 SSD would be perfect. I dont need more than that i already have an external disk drive.

Oh! i almost forgot im not sure if that fits in my price range but 16g of ram would be awsome i keep alot of tabs open and power point from school open all at the same time even when im gaming so the extra ram would be usefull.

One last thing I am probably uninformed but i have personnaly a better experience with intel and nvidia so if there is an AMD vs intel option tha are alot similar i would choose the intel one.

As far as the company go i like ASUS alot i trust them but i suppose you guys know better than me on the subject I am open for any company.

Thanks alot for your time and again soory for my awful english

build it yourself, a 5 year old can do it. You would have to really try to fuck something up. Just take care like you would with anything else and you'll be fine.

Here's an example of what you could do with the money, I'm guessing you already have a HDD, monitors, keyboard, mouse http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/gKh6mG

I'd recommend using Win-7, it just works a lot better with gaming and general not-wanting-to-commit-suicide-ness. Also if you are buying the EVGA power supply for the rebate, dont. Their mail in rebate process is remarkably terrible.

He literally said "I don't want to build it". What did you not understand about that?

That actually look awsome billy I Looked at video how to build a PC it looks pretty simple since i am already good with my hands with cars and what not. 1 more question how do you install windows on it? a disc i suppose i buy a disc tray seperataly?

There is this fear that people have when it comes to new things as they may screw it up even more as in this case building a pc. Sometimes the fear of not fully understanding of what they do is just may be too overwhelming for them. I was too in his shoes in a similar situation. I was just installing a Power Supply on a Acer Aspire Corsair, CX500 just to support the new graphics albeit it was a 6770 then a 7750 that i was going to buy card that i was putting in and forgot to plug in the 4 pin connector properly on the motherboard and it made this really loud noise on the fan of the psu and i was shit scared and did not use the computer for most of the day until i found out the problem. it was my first time ever opening up the computer and i was almost sweating out of fear as it just opening it.

yeah the one in the link will come as a disc, so you can get a cd/dvd drive for $15

billy i really like the build you propose to me! im really considering going into that direction im learning more and more everyday looking at guide!  The step that scare me at the moment is the mother board option when you open for the first ime?? i dont know the name of it but you need to tell your motherboard what is plug in it?

Another thing is all the fans/cooling. Do i need to buy that seperatly? like a heat sink for the processor and the special paste you need to put on it? does intel provide a simple cooling solution in the same box as the processor?

That's good! I'm glad you're not going to waste your money. The motherboard is easy - just watch videos that show putting the CPU in. The process is a little hard to explain without pictures. If you mean booting it for the first time into the BIOS, that's pretty simple too. You just have to find where to change the boot priority, and let it know to boot from your CD drive first, then SSD second. This is so it can see the Windows CD you will buy the first time, and from the SSD every time after you've installed windows. I did this the first time when I was 14, thought it was very easy :)

You can buy extra fans but most of the time at least 2 will come pre-installed in the case. One in the front to pull cold air in, and one in the back to push hot air out. With the CPU cooler, it's all done for you, you just have to put it on and push down the 4 legs until they click - all the paste stuff is pre-applied.
