Help me identify a laser cutter part

Hello, L1 community!

I've recently started preparing to build a laser cutter. While searching online for an open source project I came across the Micro slice V2.5, a laser cutter based on the Arduino UNO. From what I can tell it's an abandoned kickstarter project but it still has a vague instructables page, build manual and list of parts.(Link to the instructables page, and the build manual.zip download)

I've managed to find most of the needed parts but I'me having trouble finding a specific circuit board, which I can't find anywhere on the net. Personally, I don't know enough about electronic components to understand it's full function.
The component in the manual is mentioned on page 38.

From the looks of it that was a custom board for their laser cutter. It controls the laser and likely keeps it from overheating. You could reverse engineer it or find something similar, but you are playing with fire.

I goes my only option is to contact the creator of the project or abandon it entirely.
