Help me decide on cooler

Hello,

So today i noticed that my CPU runs on ~90*C while playing "Counter Strike Global Offensive" (68%-87%) CPU usage. Currently i have quite bad PC case and a stock cooler. CPU is not overclocked.

So i was thinking of getting Corsair C70 case:

And one of those CPU coolers:

Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO:

Cryorig R1 Ultimate:

Noctua NH-D15:

Thermalright hr-02:

Will they all fit ? Is there something better from what i listed if not then witch one is best form the list ?

Thanks !

What cpu do you have?

I would go cryorg or thermalright.

i7 4770k Sorry, forgot to mention.

IMHO the noctua is the best choice for high end air cooling, and should fit in the case as the c70 gives you 170mm of clearance for aircooling and the nh-d15 is only 165mm including the fans, and on top of that the noctua will give you great ram clearance as their redesign leaves a notch in the heatsink to allow for taller memory depending on your motherboard and fan configuration. I cant speak for any of the other coolers but I have done my homework on the c70 and the nh-d15 as those are parts I considered for my own re-build

I have to add my vote to Noctua too. Their air coolers are about as good as it gets, and will even rival closed-loop liquid coolers at times. Short of fitting something like an H100i, you won't beat the Noctua either both thermal performance or noise.

Just as an example on the noise side of things, I run 7 Noctua fans in a HAF XB case (4 Rad, 1 120mm case and 2 80mm case) and the only noticeable noise I get from it is when I (very rarely) use the old optical drive in it. I know noise isn't the most important thing in a cooler, but when you get great cooling and near silent performance, you can't lose.

Just get an evo 212. Theyre cheap, reliable, quiet and ive been able to cool my 4670k oc at 4.2ghz running prime and valley benching my card at 60c or under. I spend extra getting a h100i upgrading the fans and whatnot and the gains are minimal.
