Help me choose a graphics card

Hey everyone, I am building a PC soon (I will give specs and yeh please don't comment on CPU, any phenoms I found are £400 because they are rare now.)

Please give a graphics card option first.

Current specs:

FX 4100 (FX 6100 if it overclocks better.)

2x4GB Kingston Hyper X 1600Mhz RAM

Fractal Core Design 1000

WD Caviar Blue 500GB

Corsair 430W

M5A78L-LE

The graphics cards I have in mind are: (Out of these, which one is the best? I can't get a 6870 because they don't sell them at the place I buy my stuff and the place I buy myself sell things cheap. So only pick out of the 3 cards I mentioned.)

HD 7770, HD 7790 and GTX 650 TI non boost (The boost is £20 cheaper than a 660 or a 7870.)

My goal is to play BF3, COD and Skyrim at 60 fps at highest settings 720p with AA disabled

and those games 1080p at low to medium settings at 60 fps.

Any ideas? AND DONT COMMENT ABOUT MY CPU, I WILL OVERCLOCK IT LATER ON.

You should really go with at least a 7850. CoD and skyrim arent exactly graphically intensive. BF3 is, though, and I can't say for sure but I don't think you'll be able to max out with any of those cards.

Phenoms £400?????

Id get the 650 TI out of those 3....but for that budget, Id get a 7870 Tahiti LE or XT edition card.

A 7850 is overkill. I was planning to use one in my rig (1Gb version) but they have been discontinued and the ones I see are £140! I would rather get a boosted 650 Ti for that price.

Oh I forgot to mention budget. £490

I don't think you're understanding... A 7850 is nowhere near overkill for BF3 if you want to max out settings and get 60 FPS.

Idk where you live but the economy seems awful lol.

A 650 TI will not get you 60fps on BF3 at the settings you want.

You did not include any ram.

Thank you for this list. I think I am going to get a Corsair 500W then. Also, if I get a phenom, I will need to get an after market cooler because the original one is really loud. Thing is, my PC I am building with a monitor is cheaper than this :/

I am considering the builds people are giving me BUT people please give me a graphics card option.

United Kingdom economy is horrible :/

Everything I buy is 20% more expensive so I have to skimp out on some parts.

Also, I want to get the parts from one place because the stuff is a lot cheaper where I shop from.

The rig I sent using a 7770 costs £377! Which is a monster deal for a computer.

My budget is £400 now that I think about it. This does not include OS.

If anyone of you see this comment or the owner sees this comment, could you recommend me something from www.scan.co.uk

Will it not at high settings 720p?

People so far have recommended 7850, 7870 Tahiti LE or XT, 7870 GHz Edition.

Your cards that you keep mentioning 7770, 7790 and 650 TI just wont play the games you want at 60FPS

You need to make a choice, spend more and get 60FPS, or pay what you can afford and drop your expectations of 60FPS on BF3.

And where are you planning on getting theses parts from as they seem to have a poor selection?

So even a 650 TI at 720p medium-high settings won't run BF3 at 60fps? Wow.

I am getting them from www.scan.co.uk they have poor selection. I can pick the 7870 but people dont know my budget is £420-490

I am picking GTX 650 TI right now. I was going to pick the 7850 1Gb but that has been discontinuted. The 7870 is £180. Which is out of my budget. I really can't pick those. I can only pick 7770, GTX 460, GTX 650 Ti and 7790. I really have no other option within my budget for a under £126 graphics card.

Im not going to 100% rule out getting 60FPS @ ultra on 720p with a 650TI as I don't have one, and have not seen any benches for it.

But I think a average of 60FPS is unlikely looking at benches of the card playing at 1280x1024 on better rigs.

Why not look at getting you Parts from www.overclockers.co.uk they are hard to beat on price and will price match too.

They also have B Grade stock, so you could get a faster card then the 650 TI for the same price (as long as you don't mind it being in a opened box)

They have a £179.99 Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB  for £129.95!!!! (that's a monster of a card for that price).......and they give you free Haribo sweets!

?? you sead your budget is £490 ---> thats £497  http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/NsKQ
