For starters, I work at my local arena as a cameraman and I’m currently being trained to run audio. My bosses were thinking since I’m paying for college they’d give me this opportunity for more hours, and I’ve very close friends with them, so they’d rather give me more hours then hire someone else. They were also thinking that it’d be easier to learn because I have a solid background in computers. Now, basically I wanna learn all the basics from ethersound server units (our old stuff), to patchboards, and patching audioboards, and our new dante server units, and signal flow, and all the small things… Hopefully there’s someone here who can inform me or lead me to a guide with many of these topics… and I would google it but i really don’t know where to start or what to ask… Thank you for anything!
