Help - Keyboard and mouse dropout when Logitech Brio Plugged in

KVM Model:

1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Dual Monitor

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

10-Gigabit

Problem:

Keyboard / Mouse drops out if Logitech Brio is connected, doesn’t matter the port I plug the keyboard or mouse into,
as soon as I unplug the brio they start working.

Other Notes:

Tried all spare ports for Brio no change, tried connecting Brio to USB port of one monitor that allows uplink via USB, same issue.

I should add I tried 2 Brio cameras as well. and 5 different cables for keyboard, and 3 for the brio!

Hmmm. So can you verify you’re trying both devices in the blue USB3 ports? If you plug it into HID, and it’s not HID compliant, it can crash the USB stack and make all the HID USBs work incorrectly.

So power cycle the KVM (leave it off for several minutes), plug the Brio into the blue USB ports, then plug your mouse into the other blue USB port, lastly plug in the KVM and let me know how that goes?

Thank you for the reply I will try that, I was plugging it either into the front ports so I shouldn’t be plugging into the Black port on the front marked HID ?

Right, try both in the blue.

Out of curiosity are you running Windows 7 or Mac OS?

Edit- also are any of the ports that you’re using USB 2.0?
