Help ibm 528 byte convert to 512

This JTAG board looks interesting. Would you mind tracing which pins from the debug port go where? My hope is that the JTAG pins from one (or two) of the FTDI chip’s buses go directly to the connector.

I have two ST3200FM0033 branded as IBM-SSGSSVK3P2 which refuse to present anything but 528 byte sectors, and I’d like to have a go at flashing the Seagate firmware (which is available, yay!) via JTAG. Knowing the pinout of that debug connector (btw, does anyone know what connector type that is?) would be helpful as a starting point.

Sorry for the late reply, don’t have much time to mess with stuff like this nowadays sadly. I’m not enough of an electrical engineer to figure that out unfortunately, and do not know what that connector is either. I could not find any reference to it anywhere I looked. If you would like to take on this project, I have 2 of these boards and would be happy to lend you one of them for a while to attempt to dig into the project.
