Help, games keep crashing with no errors

I bought a new custom built gaming pc back in January 2014 for $1300, I've had so much trouble with games it's not even funny. The first game I tested on it was Warframe and it ran fine, no problems. Next was Minecraft and this is where my problems started, first time running Minecraft on this pc the world loaded fine seemed ok first time I moved forward showed a problem, trying to take just one step forward seemed to send me runnning at hyper speed, everything seemed to be in fast forward, ok so I googled this problem for some reason it seemed to be the cores of my CPU some how causing the problem, quick fix was to use task manager and change the affinity of the cores for the game. Fine I can do that, turn off one core seemed to slow everything back to normal. Found this to be a problem with several games other then just Minecraft, not a big problem, I can work with this.

Now around six months later I'm trying to play Borderlands 2, Viscera Cleanup Detail, and Bioshock Infinite only to find that the games crash on the splash screens so basically on start up, every time. Great, google again this new problem to find a quick fix again, downloaded a Nvidia PhysX update run the update delete old version run update again install new version can't reboot the pc cause it won't fix the game crashing problem if I do. So every time I shut my pc down for the night I have to delete and reinstall NVidia PhysX if I want to play those games.

Today I tried The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and it too is doing the "crash on the splash screens startup thing" Tried the Nvidia fix it doesn't work. Someone please tell me what is wrong with my PC?

This is all the info I have on what is in this pc Hardware wise.

OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

CPU: AMD FX-4130

RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard: ASRock 980DE3/U3S3

GPU: ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX 650Ti 2GB

Monitors: main monitor is a HP 20wm my secondary monitor is an old Gateway FPD1530

HDD: 1TB WD WDC WD10 EZEX-00KUWA0

Sound is built into the Motherboard I think. Would someone please tell me why some of my games run just fine but others I have to find fixes that I have to do every time I play? Cause this is getting annoying. You can look at the list of games I have nearly all of them are listed here, only Minecraft and FTB are absent. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198073821205/games?tab=all

That is what the program Speccy was showing. How accurate it is I don't know. I don't even know what brand of ram it is. Only that it's 8GB with 4 sticks of ram.

First of all, does the problem still exist, or has it been solved?

8 gigs of ram with 4 sticks in 2014...? That could be problem, if the mobo doesn't understand quad-channeled memory.

The problem still exist and the list of games this happens in has grown, a few have been fixed via graphics drivers update or a legacy driver download. Though Nosgoth has been added to the list of games that crash on splash screens.

The list of games I can play with no problem and without having to change core affinity is still VERY few the only one that comes to mind is Warframe. Nearly every other game I have had problems of one type or another. I swear once my three year warranty on this PC runs out I am going to get an Intel Mobo and CPU and better ram. This is stupid.
