So I have two versions of Chrome on my desktop. One that open's the default chrome browser and another that automatically opens an Incognito window of chrome (I have added --incognito to the target path). I want to add both shortcuts to the quick launch toolbar, but because windows thinks it's the same program it doesn't let me.
Is there are workaround to have both on the toolbar?
Sorry if that doesn't make much sense, I don't really know how to describe it.
did you try renaming the second shortcut before adding it to the task bar?
at any rate you can just right click the regular shortcut and select incognito window and it will open an incognito window without having to add a seperate icon.
Yea I tried that, and I know I can write click then select incognito, The problem for me (being dyslexic) is that forget that it is even a thing, so having another icon with a incognito image is like a visual cue that helps me remember.
The reason for wanting this is for University assignments when I need to research stuff, I want to search Google with out my previous Google searched affecting the results
