Hey folks,
So, this isnt exactly "metal", but I felt like this needed more awareness. A group of folks are hoping to crowd-fund the making of an official documentary to chronicle the life and music of the late guitar genius, Shawn Lane. If you are not familiar with Shawn, in most guitar circles, he was regarded as one of the most established and skilled guitarists around. Folks like Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan Joe Satriani and Steve Vai have all been interviewed about how Shawn helped shape the virtuoso guitar scene and I feel that if you are a fan of great guitar and skillful musicianship in general, you should check out the project and maybe toss a few bucks its way.
