[Help] Coilwine/electrical noises on WRT1900AC

Hi, I have a WRT1900AC with DD-WRT installed on it.

Randomly it will make a loud hissing sound/high pitch squeel, most notably when using the wireless.

I can’t get inside it to see if its any components, so I opted to try a different wall wort (it takes 12V = 4A), and i’m using a 12V = 1.5A wall wort (best I could find around the house) and the noisy is much reduced, but still present.

My question what do you think it is? bad cap? radio gone haywire? DD-WRT messing about the hardware (using kong builds so they’re tested on my router) or the wallwort that came with it is busted?

Edit: I also noticed I’m getting slighly faster wifi speeds with the new wort? 20MB/s vs 30MB/s and the full 180Mb/s on speed test vs 165Mb/s

Double Edit: the hissing sound is coming from the ethernet port area, and one of my ethernet ports will randomly cut its speed to 2.5Mb/s (to the internet, still get full gigabit speeds locally)
