So I first thought of getting the phenom 965 but then I couldn't find it anywhere so I was hoping if you guys could help me choose a CPU from these or suggest anything else
AMD 3.6 ghz AM3+ fx 4100
or
AMD 3.3 ghz AM3 fx 6100
or
AMD 3.5 ghz AM3 phenom ii 970
I'd really love to hear some suggestions ^_^
4100 is basicly a dual core. i would recommend the 6100 though.
AMD 3.5 ghz AM3 phenom ii 970 its a great chip dont get a fx 4100 and i have a fx 6100 its a crap chip my old phenom ii x4 965 ran rings around the tfx chip
the 4100 says 3.6 and 970 says 3.5 ghz how does it matter?
thay are difernt cpu architectures so ghz isent realy comparable
My phenom scored a 7.4 in windows (without over clock) my FX 6100 scored a 7.3 and the only way it will get to 7.4 is if i overclock it to 4+ghz
The fx 4100 is a 2 core chip(bulldozer) and the phenom is a 4 core chip
a Fx4100 isn´t a 2 core it has 2 modules with each 2 cores.
