Kingston SSDNow UV400 $89: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35619/kingston-ssdnow-uv400-240gb-ssd
SanDisk SSD Plus 240GB $95: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/32554/sandisk-ssd-plus-240gb-2-5in-ssd
Transcend SSD220 TLC 240GB $85: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35968/transcend-ssd220-tlc-240gb-ssd
Crucial BX200 240GB $89: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35326/crucial-bx200-240gb-ssd
Samsung 750 EVO 250GB $109: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/34630/samsung-750-evo-250gb-ssd

From what i can see and some research done the top ones are.
1. Samsung
2. Crucial
3. kingston
But unsure as the only SSD ive ever purchased is my m.2 that does me fine on its own and a OCZ 60gb from like 2012.

Sandisk Extreme Pro is almost identical in performance to a Samsung 850 pro - it just doesnt have the same endurance rating (still a 10 year warranty though) and is 5mb slower on the write - same read and IOPS

Corsair Force LE drives are OK - and are similar to Kingston and Crucial drives. If you want the absolute max specs and a 2.5 inch form factor, then Sandisk or Samsung are the best two. Everything else is slower, but still very fast.

IF you are doing "work" on the ssd, and it will mean a lot of writes, then it would be worth going for the Samsung 950 pro - but you will pay a premium for that endurance.

From the 5 drives you listed above - i would get the BX200 - but all those drives would be about the same.

Mushkin Eco 3 or drop the cash for an 850 EVO

The 850 is like $90 on Amazon, it's an easy choice.

Edit: I should have known, Australia.

Figures, the 500gb one is still like $150 USD though

Yea, if i find a seller that can send to aus, i then have to deal with import tax, conversion and shipping playing a part :(
