HELP, Can't enter bios

Hello all and @wendell

I put together a build similar to this video

ASRock x570 ITX/TB & NZXT H2101i Build Video – Ryzen & Thunderbolt Together

with some minor tweaks.

Ryzen 9 3900x
AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming-ITXTB3
H115i Pro RGB
h210i
Gskill Trident Royal 3600Mhz
Adata SX8200 PRO 1TB
3x Samsung 680 Evo

I have two questions:

  1. The computer is able to get to the prompt to hit F2 or Delete to enter bios but ever after considerable button mashing, I cant seem to enter and the screen goes black
    a. I have tried the clear cmos button after unplugging the psu, no dice
    b. I have tried to usb wired keyboards and one logitech wireless keyboard.

  2. Considering the USB header is used by the NZXT fan controller, I am not sure where to plug the CORSAIR iCUE USB CABLE header

Greatly appreciate any help

to add, I have tried entering the screen to change the boot order at no avail either, so I am a bit confused how my keyboards do not work at all

Have you tried removing the CMOS battery - for at LEAST a full minute - then rebooting?

*make sure to turn off psu power switch and disconnect from power source first

I have, used the CMOS button a number of times. Interesting update. Plugged in W10, installed no problem with keyboard. And used Asrocks instant UEFI feature. Cant seem to understand the workaround.

Interesting… Also - side note - cmos clear button and battery removal are not the same thing
