HELP! Can't access web interface after upgrading firmware Comtrend PG-9182PT

Using a wired Ethernet through the wall or ceiling is not an option and I get jitter with WiFi.

I consider using a G.hn wave 2 Powerline (Comtrend PG-9182PT) and I get good speed.

I noticed the firmware on the Powerline is old so I updated it with the newest from the manufacturer website and then selected “hardware reset” option once it is finish. To be on the safe side I also waited at least 10 mins.

After that I can’t connect to the web interface of the Powerline that was updated with firmware anymore.
I tried factory reset, but it did not made any difference (I can tell factory reset works because it gets unpaired).
I haven’t updated the other Powerline firmware and it seems like it is still able to pair with the Powerline with the updated firmware and when I login to the web interface of the Powerline with the older firmware it is able to detect the Powerline with new firmware as the MAC address of the Powerline with new firmware is listed in available connections.

Perhaps you are trying to connect to the wrong IP address?
Check the router to see what IP address DHCP assigned to it.

I checked my routers DHCP lease and I saw the Powerline MAC Address with upgraded firmware.
I was finally able to access the web interface on the Powerline with upgraded firmware.

It looks like the Powerline new firmware changed the behavior where if you factory reset, it would enable the DHCP on the Powerline by default instead of the old firmware where it would default to a static IP Address of 192.168.0.5.

The important thing is that it works.

Yes. It works much better than my WiFi 6 AX6000 connection while gaming.
I get very bad jitter (packet loss) while playing CS2 even though I get very good signal reception on WiFi (I get -28 dBm signal according to WiFi Analyzer).

The jitter has been significantly reduced with Powerline.

My internet connection is 100mbps down and 40mbps up.

I installed iperf3 on my router through docker and run test with the Powerline and I get around 140mbps which is more than enough for my internet speed
