Hi guys, I need your help. My friend in Thailand is looking to build a PC mainly for video editing and she has a budget of $CAD 2500. I added a list below to make it easier for everyone.
Budget - $CAD 2500
Location - Thailand
Purpose - Mainly video edition, light gaming (DotA 2, CS:GO)
3D works
Rendering
Everything photoshop - After effects, photoshop, lightroom etc
Monitors - Looking for at least one 4K monitor to start off with, preferably with good colour reproduction, and maybe another that is not 4k. Will upgrade to 2-3 monitors in the future.
Would need to buy an OS as well
No other peripherals are necessary (She has a mouse and keyboard already)
If I've missed any vital info there please let me know.
Any list/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Wait is she buying this in Thailand or are you buying this for her and shipping it?
I ask because there is a MASSIVE price dependency over in Thailand.
If this is being purchased in thailand we need a budget in that currency and a few links to some websites where she can buy parts from.
Well after some google searching it seems it really doesn't matter, but opencl is well open.
But ya just need to know where the PC is being purchased, and are you planning on shipping it assembled? Because if so it may be worth looking into NCIX's PC builder just to get the warranty on it, I believe they ship world wide. Although it seems like their options are limited for some reason, can't choose a 390 with the 5820k
Thanks for the replies.
She will be buying everything in Thailand at Pantip (an IT mall in case anyone knows it). So none will be online.
If you want to check and compare the prices http://www.invadeit.co.th/ is a good place to start.
So the budget in Thailand would be 60,000 Baht
