Help. Antergos screen tearing

As I stated in another thread, I just installed Anthergos. The laptop has an i5-5200u which has Intel HD 5500 for the igpu. There is no dgpu. I didn't install any sort of driver or anything as the Antergos wiki says that Intel drivers are plug and play. From what I gather, V-syn should default to "on" as well, so I am unsure of where to go with this. Any help would be very much appreciated.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it is tearing in both youtube and video file playback, if that makes any sort of difference. Also, it is running off of an 850 evo and has 16gb of ram, so not likely to have any bottlenecks there if that matters either.

Ok first try to update and see what happens

sudo pacman -Syu
sudo pacman -S xf86-video-intel mesa-libgl

have you tried watching youtube on another browser?

Sorry guys. Life has pulled me away from my laptop for the time being. I will attempt the thing that epsilont suggested when I can and get back with results.

Alright. I tried that out. It didn't fix the screen tearing issue for me.

Antergos being Arch base this link might help you out:
