Hey there! I am a noob and I want to get into Litecoin mining as anyone with consumer grade hardware is going to get smashed in Bitcoin mining. Anyways I want to get into Litecoin mining. I have a Radeon 7770 Ghz Edition from MSI, a Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme Q6800 @ 2.93 Ghz, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
So I was wondering if any of you could show me how to get started up in this? Anyhelp would be greatly appreicated.

Well first you are going to need a mining pool. My personal favorite is http://ltc.kattare.com/
They have an entire guide to getting started as well. Since i dont want to copy and paste the entire thing because that might be spam, here is the link to the guide. I got started using this. http://ltc.kattare.com/gettingstarted.php
Basicly you want to set up litecoin wallet. Download reaper which is my personal favorite but there are plently of other mining applications and since you have such a strong GPU, GPu mining will certianly be more favorable over CPU mining.
ALSO protip you want to have a good cpu cooler for litecoin mining. For some reason when i mine litecoins all night my cpu gets extremly hot like 80+ celcius which is dangerous. my new hyper 212 evo(which i payed for from litecoin mining) is coming soon and hopefully my pc can pull through for a few more days till it comes. Thats pretty much everything you need to get started.

Check for your gpu and see what overclocks people are using to get max kh/s out of there GPU.
