Can anyone recommend a mouse that is quite heavy? Because I have tremors in my hands that make them shake naturally, so gaming becomes harder. Such as this example: When I've lined up the perfect headshot, as soon as a click fire, I have a tendency to suddenly jerk my hand and miss completely. Also effects me in other genres but the FPS is the best example I could give.
So I was wondering is there are any good mouses that I could use for gaming that have a good amount to weight to them, I'm using the G400 right now and it feels very light. I also have a Logitech G5 which allows you to use weights but it's quite old now and I was wondering if there were better mice out there for what I need?
Maybe something that has interchangeable weights inside it?
Logitech G9 has weights, and two different styles of grips. I have been thinking about replacing my weights with lead, I don't think it would be that difficult, just have to melt down some old tackle gear and shape it roughly the same. I want my mouse to weigh as much as a brick.
i have the old g5 back from 2007 (it still works, however the scroll wheel became a bit stiff arround 4 or 5 months ago). the weight system is nice, and they are as reliable as a nokia phone.
Seems like I can't find any G9s. Amazon just points me to the "newer" model of the G9x. Which seems to be oddly between £60-£100 which is a tad expensive for me.
The M65 looks nice, seems to be very minor weight adjustment compared to the G9. The M95 is just too expensive for me aha.
Would be nice if there were other suggestions, possibly on where to get the G9. Tried eBay and Amazon and they really just point back to the G9x. Even then I can only find stupid MW3 versions of it.
Which games do you play? if you game competitively, it's pretty hard to find a mouse with a good sensor that uses a weight system. I use a G9X and would love it if i didn't do anything serious. I highly recommend it. Good construction quality and a weight/grip system. The sensor has a lot of acceleration though, and sense it's laser the LOD is really high, plus it's bad when dirt gets into it so make sure to use a mousepad. Compressed air would be nice, too.
I play a large varitey of games. Though the main ones I play is FPS, RTS and RPGs. So far I'm leaning towards the Cosair M65, I don't play on a hugely competitive level, I just play as competitively as the average gamer does haha.
look at the level 10 M. its not weighted, but it has a respectable amount of heft and an adjustable sensor that you can lower till your tremors don't effect it. bounus- its like $60. its heavier then a stock M65 too. (I have both on hand.)
Hmm, I think I'd go with the Corsair M65. But some people are saying that the M60 is better, something to do with input lag and such. While the M65 is has a more sturdy build to it.
