http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/archon_ibe.html?panel=2 says clearly that the socket 2011-3 is supported. But the manual doesnt show it in it.

Please help asap. I am sitting with the pieces out.
By looking at it I would be tempted to say 'send it back and buy a real noctua'. :P
2011 V3 uses part of the socket to mount, look for some double threaded stand-off like screws, should have two different thread sizes, smallest thread goes into the threaded holes in the socket usually. From there, there should be a mount plate that fits if or perhaps two bars with notches that use an amd like tension bar if its truly is 2011-v3 compatible.
could be out of date, lacking 2011-v3 parts or instructions.
well, there you go! page 8/9
Thanks helped me out big time.
I would have bought noctua if microcenter carried it. I am building it the day I bought the parts. Being today. So I had a thermaltake one or thermalright. I went with thermalright because they said the fans were better.
Haha, well in the end it will do the job. I'm just totally biased towards Noctua. :P
Glad I could help.
