Heat problem or PSU problem?

Hi there!

Recently i bought a new chassi and i installed all of my old components in it, but when it shuts down when i use it in. And when i power it up an error message doesnt pop up. But i downloaded Core Temp and started Counter-Strike. My temp went up to 90 and my computer shutted down but an error message did not show up. So im kind of lost. I have an ASUS m5a99fx pro 2.0 and an amd fx 8350...

What are ALL your components and PSU wattage?

the 8350 is notorious for being a huge heat pump. take a look to see if your airflow is decent and use some canned air on your heatsink. this could fix your problem, but if it doesn't try upgrading your heatsink/fans or get a case with better airflow.

I just bought a Corsair 450d but i have watercooling but when i changed cases i didnt put new thermal paste on it could this be the problem?

So, with my question ignored, the temps are too high. 8350s are absolute heat monsters. You need a good cooling solution.

My other components are a corsair TX650 psu a gtx 660 ti graphics card and an ssd

Sorry, thanks for the answer tho

I have a corsair h60i in my rig atm but when i changed chassis i didnt change the thermal paste on the cpu, could this be the cause of the problem?

So you bought a new case and now you are having potential cooling issues?

When you transferred your parts over did you leave you cooler attached tot he Motherboard/CPU? Might be a case if needing to re-seat and reapply the thermal paste. Some parts may have flexed a little and maybe it is not getting optimal heat transfer anymore. Would be the first thing I would check.
