...
you think headsets use rca?????
where have you been the last 10 years.....
depends on the price as well. you might be better off gettinbg a new usb headset, and turtle beach has some durability issues
haha i said i know basicly shit all about them! uhm can you recomend me a good headset for around 40-50$?
umm.... lemme look, not really an expert on headsets, but I can tell some good ones....
they use 3.5mm jacks, green for speakers, red/orange for mic, and some (usually better ones) use usb.
For concole gaming? Its probably got 3.5mm jacks. They work fine for pc gaming. Turtle beach makes okay budget headsets. Make sure it works before purchasing.
Also for a 40-50 dollar price range, you are better off buying some good ear buds. Do some research on it, (not beats or anything). Thats pretty low for anything with quality.

take a looka t that. good headset, but $20 more than your budget....
can't really find any decent ones for less....
alright thanks guys...
The G35 is going to be hard to beat at that discount, and it's probably descent for gaming. If your priority is music though you stick to brands that actually make good headphones like Sennheiser or Beyerdynamic. But that will set you back more of course. And you always pay premium for a headset, as an example the QPAD QH-1339 for well over 300 dollars is pretty much a rebranded DT-770 with a mic attached.
Also, USB connected headsets bypass your soundcard and do the D/A conversion by themselves, which is good if you use the motherboards built in circuit, but not good if you have a dedicated sound card since that probably is a better converter already. USB connected devices pretty much only exist among gaming headsets, "real" headphones always use 3.5mm or 6.3mm jack.
Too keep suggestions in budget I just got a Corsair Vengeance 1100, the sound is very good the mic is excellent, however I'm having issues with comfort. I have a really big fat head and they don't sit right. however they are really well made, great sound it's just they are just for people with more regular sized noggins.
im thinking of ordering this what are your guyses thoughts on this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874789004
Find an old logitech clip on mic for sale somewhere and just get a JVC headset on newegg since they're so much bang for your buck! I've had the same logitech mic for about 7 years and it still sounds great except for sometimes it gets all static-y and needs put in and out. But really after 7 years and still using it I can't even try to complain about it.
If a separate mic is okay to use the Creative Aurvana Live! is probably one of the best cheap headphones around. It's an updated Denon AH-D1001 so quality stuff.
