Headset: Creative Fatality. Review, opinion, and comparison

Hi Logan, Wendel, Pistol, Qain, men, women, beers and beards  (not necessarily in that order),

i've had the Creative Fatality headset (http://www.amazon.com/Creative-HS800-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset/dp/B002DS4HTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401889058&sr=8-1&keywords=creative+fatality)

for quite some time now. it was my first headset, and i briefly listened to other headphones and sets when my first one broke after couple of years, looking for an alternative. I didn't like the sound of most of the expensive headphones i was trying out, like Sennheiser. So far none of the 200€ and alike headphones could keep up with the 30€ Fatality.

Maybe i didnt give the other ones a fair chance. So i'd like to here your opinion on the headphones (microphone is not so important) , especially compared to the beyerdynamic dt880. maybe make a review of them? :)

What exactly didn't you like about the more expensive headphones?  It might turn out to be a great thing that your preferences aren't dialed in as high as others if you prefer a super cheap headset or headphone over an audiophile one or can't tell the difference because it will save you a bit of money.

the base was either way to loud or way to low. it just sounded unreal in my opinion. i'm sorry i dont know how to describe it :)
