I'm in the market for headphones. I'll use them mostly for gaming. A mic would be nice but it's low on my priority list. Budget is under $100. I haven't used headphones for decades, yes decades. I wear glasses and don't want a giant pair of cans crushing the temples of the eye glasses into my skull. Any fellow 4-eyes know if this will be an issue?
Here here I vouch for my comrade in who is up in arms. I also want ot know of such headphones. For I am also a fellow user of glasses.
I haven't used headphones or a decent pair of speakers for decades, so I haven't really developed any specific sound quality preferences.
One thing I want to avoid at all costs is static and cheap materials. If I have to spend more to get that, and something not made in China, I will.
That would be a stretch too far I'm afraid.
Edit-Did some shopping around and getting these close to my budget shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the recommendation.
I'm currently using the Corsair Vengeance 1500 and they are extremely comfortable with my glasses compared to my turtlebeach headset i had from years back.
This current pair have been buggy however. They're a USB 7.1 surround headset.. fantastic sound quality, really top notch for sub $100 but the software seems to need some work on the stability end. Also, some people hear buzzing in the cans when the mic is in use. Just some food for thought.
