Hey guys. I've got a desktop mic right now (also needs replacing) and a Siberia v2, which I dislike, and don't use the headset for.
I only use my headsets inside at my computer, and I'm really liking open the idea of an open pair of headphones.
I realize this question is posted like daily, but after I get some starting info I'll have more specific questions.
Mainly - what headphones do you suggest for someone who games and listens to no specific genre of music?
Depends on the budget, on your amp (or lack thereof). If you want to be able to listen to a wide variety of music, then the typical open, competitive fps headphones are NOT for you. Those lack bass....... by a lot. If you want something for all genres, then I would suggest something with either a fun or a neutral sound signature. That is hard to come by under $100 if you insist on open. The Fidelio L1 end up on massdrop for ~$100 every now and then though. That would likely be your best bet.
