Headphone Amplifiers

And the headphones i using a  Beyerdynamic DT770  80 ohms

Hello there i looking for a good awesome Headphone Amplifiers and i want a good warranty and good customer service and i was doing research look at few company like JDS-labs  schiit audio and mayflower electronics

Which one will you recommend and give me a good reason why.

FiiO and SMSL have affordable solutions with good reviews on them, they cater to all kinds of music listeners (portable DAC/AMP, or stationary).

my price-point is anywhere form 100 to 200

I like the E07k for around $100, works pretty nice.

or for closer to $200 the Mayflower is nice, the sound is clean

you really can't go wrong with a schiit magni. you can get the uber version to have preamp out, aluminum body and i guess they did something with the gain to make it better. or, get a normal magni + modi and have a dac/amp stack for 200$. schiit is an american company, and the magni/modi is said to compete very well against the O2/ODAC.

i was looking at the mayflower Objective2 Rear Power – Bamboo cost 134.99 and i know Schiit cost 200 i need both magni/modi in order to make it work on pc. Or Objective2 + ODAC Combo with Rear Power or maybe Uber but for both cost 300

For $200, the Schiit stack is hard to beat if you don't need a portable amp.  The O2+ODAC combo is good as well, but will likely cost you a little more even if you DIY.

Also, you don't NEED the Modi (dac) in order to use the Magni (amp) on your PC.  The Magni can be used by it's self if you so desire, but the Modi will likely improve your audio quality quite a bit.  Same goes for the O2 and ODAC.

I have a Schiit Stack and I can say that it is extremely solid.

Schiit Stack + DT 990 Pros = audio bliss

UnholyKing you got the Uber one or what different with between Uber and non uber

The Magni Uber gives you a bit more power (160mW @600 ohms vs 130mW @ 600 ohms on the standard), and also gives you a set of pre-out connections, if you have a set of powered speakers or whatever that you want to have hooked up as well.  Think of it like a splitter that will also disable the speakers when you plug in your headphones, and allow you to control the speaker volume with the volume pot on the Magni.

+1

I have a modi and vali on my he-400s. I used an O2 for a while, but I prefer my stack. Schiit stack is all you need in the sub-300 range.
