I wouldn't mind bronies if the fanbase didn't come across in the way that it does, just because you like something doesn't mean you have to obsess about it and constantly stuff it where it's not wanted , and I am generalising from my previous experiences with Bronies. I love The Walking dead, I have watched every episode multiple times and it is my favourite show I have ever watched (along with breaking bad), but I don't have it as my profile picture, I don't make references to it, and I don't talk about it. Because to be honest I have better things to do than let my virtual life revolve around a tv show.
For example of my previous 'experiences' so you get my point of view, my primary school friend and me are chatting over skype, he starts talking about how he's starting to like MLP and I'm like whatever floats your boat and try to change the subject, then he carries on talking about the characters and I upfront tell him I honestly don't care for the show and I have no interest in discussing it. The next day the first thing he brings up is the show, and again the next day, and the next, to the point where it has broke our friendship after he got all sensitive about 'being' a brony. It's a tv show not a life style choice.
(None of my points are aimed at specfic people like I said just generalising from my experiences)

look this is only a thread for other bronies on the site to meet up, I didn't start this thread with the intention of forceing the fandom on the entier site I started the thread to meat other fans of the show and have a conversation about the show. we're not trying to shove mlp in place it dosen't belong.
I think it'd be cool if we forgot about the hate posts now and started trying to discuss what it was intended for in first place right?

I think this has gone far enough. It is clear that the vast majority of tek syndicate doesn't care about MLP and want nothing to do with it.
Somebody should close this thread before it really goes off the rails (more than it already has). I'm sure there are more than enough fan sites and forums for MLP where you can go and talk about it until you turn blue (or pink).
