So I set up my old laptop to be my Myth-TV backend and hooked up my HD-PVR up to it. The Back end seems to be set up correctly, but when I go to launch the Front end it comes up and says its connected to the backend so that all seems to be fine. The real issue seems to be when I go to watch live tv it opens up the first time and tries to load then my tv stops displaying the pass-through and the watch live tv crashes. I have also tried the Hauppauge Capture software on my windows 8.1 machine, but after I select the HD-PVR as the device in there the pass-through feed crashes just like when its hooked up to my MythTV laptop. Windows says that the device drive has crashed but I am guessing it is something on the HD-PVR, has anyone had this issue / have any ideas on how to make it work. I have been thinking about upgrading to the HD-PVR2 but it doesnt seem to be supported with MythTV. Any Help / Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
