HDMI to Display Port adapter that will work with L1KVM

I have a dock that features 1xDP and 2xHDMI outputs, and I want to feed two displays through the L1KVM, which wants DisplayPort. All the ones I can find (like this BENFIE one, or this UANTIN one) go to great lengths to explain that they should not be used with docking stations or KVMs, and I’m need to use one with both of those!

Does anyone know if they are just warning about use with mere mortal KVMs, and not the exquisitely crafted and tested L1KVMs? Are there HDMI-out-to-DP-in adapters out there that will survive contact with a dock and KVM?

I use this from my M1 Mac Mini’s HDMI port to my L1Tech’s 4 Computer Dual Monitor DP1.4 KVM.

This also works too

Just make sure you plug in the USB A cable for power on the HDMI device.
