pretty much the title, whenever i retart my hard drives disconnect and i have to move sata ports to get the pc to reconize them. would that be a motherboard problem? any advice would be lovely <3
If it happens to more than 1 drive I would suspect the problem is your motherboard.
Perhaps try looking in the BIOS and see how your drives are configured.
If nothing sticks out try resetting it to defaults, and if you’re still having no luck try a BIOS update.
ok sounds good. im upgrading to zen+ in march-april so its not a huge deal but would be nice not to have to deal with it if i pass it on. thanks for the advice, ill look into it
