HDD Vibrates Case, silencing kits?,any tips?

Hi gang!

I discovered my WD Black 2TB HDD vibrates my Carbide Air 540 case as it's mounted at the bottom, there's metal to metal contact which produces a low pitch hum that resonates my desk.

Has anyone had experience with HDD silencing kits like the Sharkoon Vibe-fixer ?

...or a Scyth HDD enclosure ?

My PC is quiet (no vibrations just Noctua low rpm fans) when it boots until the HDD kicks in.

Thanks!

Just get rubber grommets the ones u see on modern hd caddies or buy them. Or you could jimmy rig it with those foamy AC sealent strips or those dense noise cancelling strips. Items such as these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-3-5-HDD-mounting-adapter-bracket-for-SSD-HDD-rubber-shock-absorber-screw-/281371750106?pt=US_Computer_Case_Accessories_Tool_Kits&hash=item4183102eda

Or you could just DIY and give that WD Black some rubber feet from something it'll be easier and cheaper.

Adhesive velcro strips work a charm as well. No hdd screws just the tape on the underside of the hdd. It wont move unless you pickup the pc and throw it.

Yeah a rubber washer or velcro would be better than that big sling thing in the picture.

This is what I usually use for 3,5" drives. These things are cheap (around 5-7€) and work great.
