When I built my PC I used my laptops HDD to help save money on an OS and disk drive. My laptops HDD is small so I bought a 1 TB, but I can't store anything on my 1 TB. I can see it the BIOS and in Windows device manager, but I can't store anything on it and I can't see it like how I can see my laptops. Can anyone help me?
I had the same problem when i bought a new HDD, i just opend disk manager and created a partition on the new HDD, i just choise to use the full capacity of the disk as a new partition.
Yes you indeed probably need to creat a partition on the drive with diskmanager, just to give it a drive letter
