HDD error?

So this has happened a couple times now when i download, delete, or move a file windows will say the file is no longer found. The file will still be there but windows will just come up with this error and when i reboot the file is sometimes back in the original location but other times it's just gone. I have a 1tb drive from seagate.

I watched the new video on windows even log and now i have found a "controller error" on my hard drive.

Does anyone know what the details actually mean?

Can you provide more information on what kind of system you are using? Have you also tried updating any drivers regarding SATA/AHCI? Have you tried running a tool like CrystalDiskInfo for more information? Can you post any information regarding what I have asked as a reply to help us further diagnose this issue?
