HD 7970 90 Degrees and still climbing?

Hello guys,

I just got into the Lite coin mining and started the software, it went mining but when i checked my GPU temps i saw it was 60 then 70, 80, 90 and it still went climbing. Is this normal because I don't think it is.

Case: Cooler Master Silencio 550
          GPU: HD 7970 Sapphire

Naturally, these mining type operations are going to be quite intensive so the GPU temperatures being higher than usual isn't really abnormal. However if it is much higher than your gaming GPU temperatures then there might be a problem.
