HD 7770 CrossFire Question

Hello,

I currently have a single ASUS HD7770 Ghz Editon, 1GB GDDR5. I was wondering if I were to make this card my secondary and add a ASUS HD7770 Ghz Edition 2GB GDDR5 card as my primary and CrossFire them, would it actually work? Would the extra memory in the primary card be wasted? Would I be able to run three displays off of the pair?

No it wouldn't be wasted, yeah it could run 3 displays. Actually though it's normally a better idea to just get a 7870 if you already have one it's fine if you really want to get another, a friend of mine did it and it has been working out nicely for him, the latest drivers also improved crossfire a lot actually.
