Having trouble detecting third gpu on Gigabyte x470 aorus ultra motherboard

Machine Specs: 3700x, x470 gigabyte aorus ultra, two 32gb crucial pro ddr4 (64gb total), two 500gb nvme ssd, three 4tb ironwolf NAS hdd, two 1tb 2.5inch hdd, two 1050ti graphics card, 2.5gig trednet pci card, and coolermaster 80+ white 550w psu.

I run proxmox on this machine with both the gpu passthrough to different VMs and all the hdd passed through to other VMs as well. Everything have been running fine so far.

Now, i wanna install a quadro P400 in the system for anther gpu passthrough which i’m planning to physically plug a monitor and use it just for display output for that VM. However, that third card is not getting detected either by the bios or by proxmox. If i try ‘lspci -v’ on proxmox, i don’t see the quadro card in there. And i’ve set the primary display output in the bios to ‘pcie 3 slot’ but even then i’m getting no output from the quadro rather 1050it installed in the first slot is displaying bios.

I’ve tried everything from enabling ‘above 4g’ to setting all the settings that said pcie speed to ‘gen 1’, settings like ARI and other changed to ‘enable’ from ‘auto’. But nothing’s working. I’m positive that all the hardware works. I’m out of ideas now. Can i not use a 3rd graphics card on my motherboard? Or is it something i am doing wrong? Please help and thanks.

I found the answer through LTT forum. If i use the second nvme slot, third pcie slot will be disabled.
