Thats my speed test. By no means good, but not to bad either. Problem is that sometimes when I'm on CS:GO my ping will jump up to about 600 and the game will be unplayable. It only happens in that game.
Can anybody help me figure out what the problem is?
Link is down. If you get high ping on a csgo server then switch to another server.....
It could be your game or other outside variables. The ping in a speed test is the time for a response to be received from a server (that is around 50 miles away on your test), so that is by no means a "THIS IS WHAT MY PING WILL BE EVERYWHERE" because different servers are further away, have slower links/congested links between them and just generally more hops away. Bear in mind these routes will be in use by other users which could cause congestion.
Try a server closer to you or alternatively try running through a VPN (this will not improve your pings but may bring stability)
Other than that check your game integrity, could be something there that's playing up.
