Have HID-Compliant Webcams been Tested on the KVM?

KVM Model:

MKAG-8KT3124 - 2 monitor, 4 port HDMI 2.1 KVM

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

USB 3.2 10gb

Problem:

Unable to use HID webcam over KVM HID ports.

Other Notes:

My Windows machine recognizes the device as a webcam, but does not display video when using the Webcam through the KVM. My webcams work over KVM USB3, directly connected to the the Windows machine, and do not require drivers. I observed this behavior for Logitech Brio, Logitech C925e, and Amcrest AWC2198. Has this feature of the KVM been tested with a known compliant HID webcam?

We’ve tested the Logitech Brio before and other webcams, it seems really hit or miss. Sometimes USB3 is required for a particular model, sometimes it works in HID without hiccups. @wendell can you explain more?
