Haswell Mobo

Now that Haswell is officially out I'm looking to do a build. Did a quick check on the forums for Haswell mobos but didn't find what i'm looking for. I'd like recommendations on a good Haswell compatible mobo in the $150 range. Will be pairing it with the i5 4670k and want to OC it.

Thank's in advance!

You are best off just waiting a week or two; prices will drop - Haswell was just released, so they can charge a lot for it and not get yelled at.

However, the best board for this price range is probably going to be the MSI GD45 Z87.

Well, it's $10 over, but...

Yea the msi mobos look really good. I cant believe Asus went with gold on almost their whole  lineup... big mistake.

Yeah those msi gaming and theire Mpower line´s look awesome.

Thanks for the replies. To ask a total noob question, what's the problem with ASUS going with gold? The ASUS Z87-A SLI found here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8139496&CatId=8586  looks as good as the MSI board and it's cheaper.

Seriously, I deffently not buying an asus motherboard for haswell if I ever even buy haswell.

I'd get the Msi boards myself especially the mpowers anyone else think the xpower is overpriced though?

To answer your question about the gold it just looks ridiculous, like driving a gold impala but if you like that go for it. Personally I am going with an Asus Gryphon for my matx build but I would suggest the ASRock Z87 Xterme4 it will be a good value like all ASRock boards and in my experience the all OC pretty well too.

yeah the Xpower is theire top of the line board, its realy overpriced, they got crazy on that thing. But there are also 2 mpower versions.

I'm not a fan of Asus's weird gold colors or MSI's red dragon.

I will probably be buying this board real soon: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128592

For your budget, I would get this one... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128590
